Product Overview

The ultraviolet (UV) NOx emission analyzer is a high-precision instrument designed for measuring NO and NO₂ in vehicle exhaust. It uses ultraviolet absorption spectroscopy combined with proprietary high-precision algorithms and a direct-flow short gas chamber design to achieve accurate and stable NOx measurements.

The analyzer meets the 00-level accuracy requirements of GB 3847 and GB 18285 standards, offers excellent anti-interference capability, and has a very low detection limit. It is an essential tool for vehicle emission testing and environmental monitoring.

Working Principle

The analyzer measures NO and NO₂ based on UV absorption spectroscopy. Exhaust gases pass through a direct-flow short gas chamber, where NO and NO₂ absorb light at specific UV wavelengths. Optical sensors detect the absorption intensity, and internal algorithms convert this data into accurate gas concentrations.

The system minimizes the impact of sampling flow variations on measurements, incorporates automatic zeroing to eliminate background interference, and features self-diagnostic functions to ensure long-term stable operation.

Key Features

  • Advanced UV Absorption Technology: Minimizes cross-interference from other gases, enhancing measurement accuracy.
  • High Anti-Interference Capability: Exhaust flow variations have negligible effect on NO and NO₂ readings, ensuring reliable measurements in complex conditions.
  • Low Detection Limit: Suitable for precise monitoring of low-emission vehicle exhaust.
  • Automatic Zeroing: Built-in air zeroing pump ensures accurate and reliable results for each test.
  • Self-Diagnostic Function: Monitors sensor status in real-time to enhance operational stability.
  • Data Connectivity: Equipped with communication interfaces for data transmission and integration with other exhaust analysis systems, enabling efficient management and monitoring.

Applications

  • Vehicle Emission Testing: Precisely measures NO and NO₂ concentrations at automotive emission testing stations to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
  • Environmental Monitoring & Regulation: Used by environmental agencies and monitoring institutions to regularly assess vehicle emissions and control air pollution.
  • Vehicle Compliance Evaluation: Supports emissions testing during vehicle inspections, production, and enforcement of environmental standards.
  • Environmental Research: Provides accurate exhaust emission data for research institutions, supporting emissions reduction technologies and environmental studies.
