Product Overview
The Infrared Combustible Gas Detector (Methane Analyzer) is based on advanced Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) gas analysis technology. It is specifically designed for monitoring and alarming CH₄ (methane) gas leaks in natural gas, coalbed methane, landfill, wastewater treatment, and anaerobic fermentation environments. The device accurately detects methane concentrations and triggers an alarm when preset thresholds are reached, ensuring a safe working environment. Its infrared gas filtering technology prevents interference from other gases, providing stable and reliable measurements.
Technical Principles
The detector employs NDIR technology to measure methane by detecting the absorption intensity of infrared light at a specific wavelength. Integrated infrared gas filters effectively eliminate cross-sensitivity from other gases. Built-in temperature compensation and automatic zero calibration maintain measurement accuracy under varying environmental conditions. The sensor features a long service life and is resistant to poisoning, making it suitable for continuous online monitoring.
