Product Overview
The Ultrasonic Gas Flow Meter is specifically designed for small to medium biogas stations, urban natural gas distribution, and trade metering applications. Utilizing advanced ultrasonic gas sensing technology, it provides precise flow measurement and real-time acquisition of pressure and temperature data on site. The system calculates both standard flow and cumulative flow, while its unique methane concentration measurement feature supports flow metering, acceptance, and regulatory compliance in biogas projects. With a mechanical-free design, the meter maintains long-term measurement accuracy even in harsh environments with high H₂S and high moisture content.
Working Principle
The meter employs the ultrasonic transit-time method to measure gas velocity. Built-in temperature and pressure sensors provide dual compensation to calculate standard flow. Instantaneous and cumulative flow are computed from real-time gas flow and methane concentration signals. The absence of mechanical moving parts eliminates wear, ensuring long-term high accuracy with minimal maintenance.
