Product Overview

A dry ice blasting machine is a highly efficient and environmentally friendly surface cleaning system. It uses compressed air to accelerate -78°C high-density dry ice pellets to near the speed of sound and direct them onto the target surface for cleaning.

When the dry ice pellets hit the surface, the extremely low temperature causes contaminants to rapidly cool, making them brittle and easier to break away. The pellets then penetrate small cracks and instantly sublimate into gas, expanding to nearly 800 times their original volume. This expansion lifts and removes dirt from the surface without leaving residues or causing secondary contamination.

The machine is built with high-quality SUS304 stainless steel, providing excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and a refined appearance. It is suitable for a wide range of industrial and scientific cleaning applications.

Working Principle

Dry ice pellets are propelled at high speed by compressed air and directed onto the surface to be cleaned. The impact of the extremely cold pellets causes contaminants to become brittle and detach from the surface.

Immediately after impact, the dry ice sublimates into carbon dioxide gas. This rapid expansion helps lift and remove the loosened contaminants from the surface. Since the dry ice completely vaporizes, no cleaning residue remains and no chemical solvents are required, making the process both efficient and environmentally friendly.

A frequency-controlled system and pneumatic vibrator regulate the supply of dry ice pellets, ensuring consistent flow and uniform spraying to meet different cleaning requirements.
