Product Overview
The vehicle emissions gas analyzer is a professional instrument designed to measure the concentration of multiple gas components in vehicle exhaust. It combines non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology with long-life electrochemical (ECD) sensors to accurately measure the volume concentration of gases such as CO, HC, CO₂, O₂, and NO.
The analyzer also features automatic air–fuel ratio calculation and display, providing more comprehensive data for emission testing. With its portable design, the device is suitable for various on-site and mobile testing environments. It is easy to operate, stable, and reliable, making it an essential tool for vehicle emission testing and environmental monitoring.
Working Principle
The analyzer operates using a combination of non-dispersive infrared absorption and electrochemical detection principles.
NDIR technology measures gases such as CO, CO₂, and HC by passing infrared light at specific wavelengths through the sample gas, where different components selectively absorb the light.
For gases like O₂ and NO, high-sensitivity electrochemical sensors are used. These gases undergo electrochemical reactions inside the sensor, generating electrical signals proportional to their concentration.
The system is equipped with a multi-stage filtration unit to remove impurities, ensuring measurement stability and accuracy. In addition, built-in algorithms automatically calculate the air–fuel ratio, enabling comprehensive analysis of combustion performance.
