Product Overview
Natural gas decarbonization equipment is a high-efficiency system specifically designed to purify natural gas by removing acidic gases (such as CO₂ and H₂S), moisture, and other impurities. Using methyl diethanolamine (MDEA) solvent absorption, the system ensures that natural gas meets high-quality standards before low-temperature liquefaction, preventing pipeline and equipment corrosion or blockage and ensuring safe, efficient operation of downstream processes.
Working Principle
Natural gas enters an absorption tower and contacts the MDEA solution. CO₂ and H₂S are selectively absorbed into the liquid phase, achieving effective gas purification.
The rich solution is sent to a regeneration system, where absorbed acidic gases are released via heating or pressure reduction, restoring the solvent’s activity for continuous recycling. The system incorporates multi-level safety controls and automated management, enabling stable, continuous operation while optimizing energy efficiency.
