The LCO₂ liquid carbon dioxide storage tank is a cryogenic pressure vessel specifically designed for the storage of liquid CO₂. With a nominal capacity ranging from 5 m³ to 200 m³, it can meet the storage requirements of various industrial scales.

The tank can be designed in either vertical or horizontal configurations, with a maximum working pressure of up to 2.2 MPa. It adopts advanced vacuum powder insulation combined with multi-layer wrapped insulation technology to effectively reduce heat transfer, ensuring stable storage and low evaporation loss of liquid CO₂.

Working Principle

The storage tank operates based on cryogenic vacuum insulation technology. A stable vacuum layer is formed between the inner and outer vessels, filled with high-efficiency insulating materials such as perlite and combined with multi-layer insulation structures.

This design effectively suppresses heat transfer caused by conduction, convection, and radiation, significantly reducing heat leakage.

Liquid CO₂ is stored inside the inner vessel under low-temperature and high-pressure conditions. An optimized piping system enables liquid filling, discharge, and pressure regulation.

While maintaining excellent insulation performance, the system ensures safe and stable operation under a working pressure of up to 2.2 MPa.
