The Intelligent 24-Hour Ambient Particulate Sampler is a high-efficiency device designed for long-term environmental air monitoring. It enables continuous and integrated sampling of both gaseous pollutants and particulate matter.

The system uses a solution absorption method to collect gaseous and vapor-phase pollutants such as SO₂ and NOx, while a gravimetric filter method is applied to capture and analyze total suspended particles (TSP), PM10, and PM2.5.

With its compact design, portability, and stable performance, the device supports constant temperature and constant flow sampling, making it suitable for environmental monitoring, public health supervision, and emergency response applications.

Working Principle

The sampler is based on the principle of separate collection of gaseous pollutants and particulate matter.

Gaseous pollutants are absorbed into a solution, enabling continuous enrichment of components such as SO₂ and NOx. Particulate matter enters the filter system through an aerodynamic size-selective inlet, where TSP, PM10, and PM2.5 are collected using the gravimetric method.

An integrated electronic flow control module monitors and automatically adjusts the sampling flow rate in real time, while compensating for voltage fluctuations and temperature changes to ensure high accuracy. A constant temperature control system further enhances sampling stability and reliability.
