The Model A Intelligent Ambient Particulate Sampler is a high-efficiency environmental monitoring device designed for the simultaneous collection of gaseous pollutants and particulate matter.

It uses a solution absorption method to collect gaseous pollutants such as SO₂ and NOx, while a gravimetric filter method is used to capture and analyze total suspended particles (TSP), inhalable particles (PM10), and fine particles (PM2.5).

With a compact and portable design, the instrument is equipped with a built-in 32Ah high-capacity lithium battery, making it suitable for ambient air monitoring, indoor air testing, and emergency response applications.

Working Principle

The sampler is designed based on the separate collection of gaseous pollutants and particulate matter.

Gaseous pollutants are captured using an absorption solution, enabling quantitative sampling of gases such as SO₂ and NOx. Particulate matter is separated through an aerodynamic size-selective inlet and collected on filter membranes, where TSP, PM10, and PM2.5 are analyzed using the gravimetric method.

An integrated electronic flow control module continuously monitors and automatically adjusts the sampling flow rate. It also compensates for variations in temperature and voltage, ensuring accurate and stable sampling results.
