The Opposed-Transducer Ultrasonic Gas Flow Meter is a high-precision instrument designed for real-time gas flow monitoring in challenging industrial and municipal environments. Utilizing non-contact ultrasonic measurement technology, it performs reliably under high temperature, high humidity, high dust, and viscous particulate conditions. The device calculates the line-averaged gas velocity using the transit-time difference between ultrasonic signals, ensuring accurate flow measurement even in complex flow fields. It can operate independently or integrate with CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems), offering high versatility and reliability for municipal, industrial, and energy applications.
Working Principle
The meter operates on the ultrasonic transit-time principle. Ultrasonic signals are transmitted and received across the duct, and the propagation time difference is used to calculate the gas flow velocity, achieving line-averaged measurement. The system employs autocorrelation detection technology to maintain stability and precision in high-noise environments. Multi-channel designs (2-channel or 4-channel) are supported to accommodate large-diameter ducts and complex flow fields. The device can measure flow rates as low as 0.1 m/s and can simultaneously capture gas temperature and pressure for comprehensive monitoring.
