Product Overview

The fixed-source sulfuric acid mist sampling probe is designed for collecting sulfuric acid mist emissions from industrial and fixed pollution sources. Featuring full-path heating, the probe maintains controllable temperatures at the tip and body, keeping moisture in vapor form as it passes through the filter. This prevents condensation and reduces sampling resistance.

Solid sulfuric acid mist is collected on a standard No. 3 filter, while gaseous sulfuric acid is captured using two 250 ml impinger bottles connected in series. The system also provides real-time measurements of flue gas flow rate and temperature, making it suitable for environmental monitoring, public health, safety supervision, and scientific research.

Working Principle

The probe uses full-path heating for the tip and body to maintain water vapor, preventing condensation and minimizing sampling resistance.

  • Solid Sulfuric Acid Mist: Collected on the No. 3 filter.
  • Gaseous Sulfuric Acid Mist: Absorbed through two 250 ml impinger bottles connected in series.

A built-in PT100 temperature sensor and Pitot tube monitor flue gas flow and temperature in real time. Various sampling nozzles and adjustable-height stands allow the probe to adapt to different flow rates and sampling conditions.

Key Features

  • Full-Path Heating: Tip and body heating ensures water remains in vapor form through the filter.
  • Dual-Phase Collection: Solid sulfuric acid collected on No. 3 filter; gaseous acid captured in two 250 ml impingers.
  • Precise Temperature Control: Maintains probe temperature at 110 °C ± 10 °C.
  • Customizable Length: Standard probe length 1.5 m; customizable to meet specific requirements.
  • Integrated Measurement: Real-time monitoring of flue gas temperature and flow improves sampling accuracy.
  • Versatile Accessories: Multiple nozzle options and adjustable-height stand for flexible sampling setups.

Applications

  • Environmental Monitoring: Sampling sulfuric acid mist from fixed pollution sources to support regulatory compliance.
  • Health & Safety: For public health, epidemic prevention, and workplace safety monitoring.
