Product Overview
The electrolysis and electroplating composite ion exchange membrane is a high-performance composite membrane material, featuring a high-strength PTFE mesh support layer combined with perfluorosulfonic acid resin of specific molecular weight and ion exchange capacity. The membrane has uniform thickness and excellent conductivity, enabling efficient ion transport and stable operation in electrolysis and electroplating processes. It is widely used in electrochemical chlorine dioxide generators, etchant recovery of copper, gold salt preparation, amino acid purification, caustic soda production, and electrodialysis processes.
Working Principle
The composite ion exchange membrane achieves high proton or ion conductivity through ion channels formed by the perfluorosulfonic acid resin, while the PTFE mesh support layer enhances mechanical strength and durability. The membrane maintains low swelling and dimensional stability under strong acid, strong alkali, and high-temperature/high-humidity conditions, ensuring rapid ion migration during electrolysis or electroplating processes, thereby improving process efficiency and product quality.
