Product Overview
The Portable Infrared Natural Gas Calorimeter is based on Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) technology and provides real-time measurement of the calorific value of coalbed methane and natural gas. It simultaneously detects the volumetric concentrations of CH₄, CnHm, and other gas components. Compared to traditional combustion-based calorimeters, this instrument offers simpler operation, higher accuracy, and cost efficiency, making it ideal for on-site analysis and online gas monitoring.
Technical Principles
The calorimeter employs NDIR gas analysis technology, using the absorption characteristics of gas molecules at specific infrared wavelengths to precisely measure the concentration of CH₄, CnHm, and other multi-component gases. The calorific value of coalbed methane and natural gas is then automatically calculated from the volumetric concentrations. This approach eliminates the complexity of combustion-based methods while avoiding cross-interference between multiple gas components, ensuring highly accurate measurements.
