Product Overview
The CO₂ Dehydration Unit is a critical component in the Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) chain, designed for efficient removal of moisture from carbon dioxide. By providing deep dehydration, the unit ensures the safe and continuous transport, utilization, and storage of CO₂. High-performance molecular sieves prevent pipeline corrosion, valve damage, and ice blockage, guaranteeing stable and reliable operation.
Working Principle
The unit operates based on molecular sieve adsorption. CO₂, in either gaseous or liquid phase, passes through the molecular sieve bed where water molecules are selectively adsorbed and removed. Dual-tower or multi-tower configurations allow continuous operation, with one tower in dehydration mode while the other undergoes regeneration. During regeneration, heat or purging gas releases the adsorbed moisture, and molecular sieve protection ensures a stable dew point, delivering high-purity CO₂ output.
Key Features
